Opening night- jack chalker - artist in captivity

Approximately 200 persons attended the opening of the Artist in Captivity exhibintion on the April 24. The nights events included:

Guard of honour by the Townsville Medical Corp
Esteemed guests (including major sponsors- Ryman Healthcare) and John Dunlop (Son of Edward 'Weary' Dunlop), local personalities and patrons -enjoyed scrumptious foods and drinks.
After the speeches and the formal opening, the Last Post was played and festivities went into the late hours!

The exhibition is a coup for Mission Arts and the local region. Already interest has been shown in other areas of Australia to receive the exhibition.
